We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a school located in the heart of Cardiff. This role offers flexibility with ad hoc, temporary, and long-term opportunities available. Day-to-day of the role:- Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher.
- Ensure the classroom remains conducive to learning, keeping students engaged.
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
- Assist students with their work as set by the teacher.
- Ensure all students are working safely and responsibly.
- Collect completed work after the lesson and pass to the appropriate teacher.
- Experience in a similar role within a school setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
- Proactive, engaging, and resilient.
- Good communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one).
