Teaching Assistant - SRB Setting (Long-Term)

Role Overview:As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils with various complex and challenging needs, providing tailored support to help them access the curriculum and engage fully in their education. Your role will also involve assisting with personal care tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with complex and challenging needs in an SRB setting.

  • Work closely with teaching staff to deliver individualized support and interventions.

  • Assist with personal care needs of pupils where required.

  • Promote inclusion and encourage pupils to engage with their learning.

  • Maintain a positive and supportive environment for all pupils.

  • Observe and report on pupil progress as part of the wider team.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with children, ideally in an ALN or SRB setting.

  • Be flexible and proactive in supporting pupils' individual needs.

  • Be prepared to assist with personal care requirements as part of the role.
