We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to join our school team! As the Caretaker, you will play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of our school grounds and facilities. The role also involves driving between two sitesas part of general maintenance duties but will not need to open or close the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks around the school building and grounds.
- Carry out minor repairs and ensure the school premises are safe and secure.
- Set up and arrange facilities for school events and activities.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Support the smooth running of the school by attending to requests from staff and school management.
- Assisting with deliveries and site visits when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Full, clean driving license (required).
- Basic knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A proactive and reliable attitude.
