Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, as well as proficiency in using hand and power tools. The Maintenance Electrician will play a crucial role in maintaining our operational efficiency and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure seamless operation of all facility systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all duties.
- Assist in the installation of new electrical systems as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical maintenance are advantageous.
