Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical cables in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to complete cable jointing tasks.
• Perform welding tasks as necessary for cable connections.
• Dig trenches and prepare sites for cable laying, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding area.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cable jointing or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools safely.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and components is essential.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including digging and lifting as required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A valid driver's licence may be required depending on job location.

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
