About the role

  • Technical liaison to designated customers for specific product requests and offerings as dictated by customer requests, commercial team and business unit inputs.
  • Responsible for reviewing customer requests and assessing feasibility and best method, site, etc. for growth for designated customers.
  • Technical lead for all customer epitaxial development queries and programs.
  • Responsible for MOCVD III-V epitaxy recipe development and production support (as needed) on products including HBT, pHEMT & BiHEMTs.
  • Advisor to the Technology Group regarding generic process improvements required to maintain competitiveness in the wireless market.
  • Drives qualification activities, data correlation studies.
  • Proposes and drives continuous improvement activities.
  • Manage large & disparate data sets and distill information into concise presentations and recommendations
  • Review and interpret characterization & device fabrication data for development and (as needed) production support
  • Review specifications for accuracy and manufacturing feasibility
  • Monitor and improve statistical process control charts
  • Correlate internal quality data with customer data
  • Participate in system troubleshooting when requested as part of escalation process
  • Conduct failure analyses and prepare corrective action recommendations
  • Serve as a technical expert and team member of the Technology. As such, this individual will be key in supporting the Business Unit and Commercial portion of the organization for the definition of product roadmaps for future offerings.

About you

Desired Job Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or Physics.
  • Semiconductor device epitaxial growth experience
  • Proficient in statistical process control techniques & data analysis software such as JMP
  • Applications support

  • Possesses excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and communication skills
