Do you want to get vast amounts of training short-medium term, and progress into management long term while being a part of a large modernisation project?This company design, manufacture, supply and maintain a range of specialist medical products worldwide. Although being a global business with a strong reputation, they still retain a close knit, family feel with a highly skilled team where everyone has a say and an impact as opposed to a cog in the wheel. The Production engineer will be a part of a multi-disciplinary product development team, responsible for taking projects from concept through to manufacturing and product release. You will carry out duties to ensure the effective operation of the Production Engineering department and to provide the primary interface between product design and Manufacturing, provide production support through installation, programming and maintenance of production equipment and be first line support for Production related problems.The company are going through a large site modernisation project which will be ongoing for some time, with real investment in equipment, the site, the staff, and with that is going to come a lot of training and progression opportunities.You will receive training with regards to CAD, medical electronics, acoustics, medical standards, Risk management, bio-compatibility & other medical device related regulations.
