IT Technician / Computer Hardware Engineer - Electronic Repair Workshop

Looking for someone enthusiastic about IT and computers who enjoys repairing them, to work for a business based in Cardiff who specialise in IT systems in shops.

This role is available for immediate start.

The work is to take refurbished PC’s, and EPOS equipment and prepare them for redeployment to clients specs.

This role is to work for a division of a large Service Maintenance company who can offer you ongoing training and a career.

Applicants for this role must be flexible to undertake tasks including cleaning equipment, warehouse as well as the technical fault diagnosis, staging and repair work.

Excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest and passion for PC hardware repair to start a career.

Specific product training will be given to suitably qualified applicants how to test, configure and upgrade firmware and OS and then create software images to client's standard builds.

Permanent PAYE role, starting on National Minimum Wage, £11.44 p/h, 37.5 hours per week, £22308 per annum, plus overtime potential, pension, paid holidays and private medical insurance.

You will start on a 3 month contract with a view to perm

Standard hours 08:30 - 16:30 Mon - Fri.
