Trainee Calibration Engineer (Instrumentation)

Are you an aspiring Calibration Engineer with an interest in pumps, valves, pressure transmitters or similar looking for full training on technical products and a platform to kickstart your Calibration career with a leading company within the Oil & Gas industry offering progression opportunities and a company bonus to increase your earnings?
This well-established company provide a range of instrumentation products for a broad client base across the Oil & Gas industry. Since their establishment in 1972 they have grown to over 60 employees and due to an ever-increasing workload are looking to grow their friendly calibration team.
This varied role will see you initially receive full training and then work within the tight-knit calibration team as you learn about humidity and power calibration whilst predominantly working inhouse within the Pontypridd lab. Further to this you will undertake work on a range of instrumentation equipment in addition to undertaking some local travel visiting some customer sites as far as Worcester and Gloucester.

The Role:
- 08:00-16:30 Monday - Friday + occasional weekend
- Undertake varied calibration work on a range of instruments including: flow meters, valves, pressure transmitters, gauges, thermometers and more
- Full training - learn essential humidity and power calibration skills
- Join a small team of Calibration engineers
- Local travel to customer sites
The Person:
- Mechanical background / qualification or similar
- Instrumentation experience - understanding of pumps, valves, transmitters or similar
- Full driving License
- Commutable to Pontypridd
