Yolk Recruitment are currently hiring for an Enterprise Architect to lead the development of strategic IT architecture in alignment with business goals. The role involves creating roadmaps, supporting the delivery of critical programmes, and providing strategic advice on technology solutions. You'll collaborate with architects, business leaders, and technical teams to ensure resilient IT services and drive innovative solutions for future needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop enterprise architecture strategies aligned with business vision.
  • Collaborate with architects to design and implement solutions across corporate and operational technologies.
  • Provide strategic advice on technology vendor and solution decisions.
  • Maintain architectural representation at programme management levels.
  • Conduct research on technology trends to propose cost-effective, agile responses.
  • Support the development of roadmaps and strategies for future investment.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation within the architecture repository.
  • Ensure solutions align with underlying technical roadmaps and business objectives.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience: 5+ years managing technical teams in complex, multi-vendor environments, preferably in 24/7/365 settings.
  • Knowledge: Demonstrable understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles and up-to-date knowledge of supporting technologies.
  • Skills: Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Desirable: Experience in utilities, multi-vendor contracts, or managing outsourced IT contracts.
