Forward Waste Management is a well-established, continuously growing SME with currently 60 employees, providing innovative and value-added waste management services, primarily focused towards the manufacturing sector.

We are currently seeking an HR Generalist with extensive experience in a stand-alone role and a fast-paced environment.

As a person you will be a self-starter, have high attention to detail, be able to communicate to a variety of stakeholders and most importantly have a can-do attitude!

Some of your responsibilities will include;

  • Ensuring all HR administration and processing tasks are carried out to a very high standard.
  • Reviewing and updating policies and procedures, in line with legislative requirements
  • Working to KPIs to reduce absence and turnover levels
  • First line support to managers and colleagues in the use of HRIS
  • Working with managers on HR projects
  • Supporting the end-to-end recruitment and selection processes
  • Co-ordinating and checking the monthly payroll process as required
  • Providing legal and best practice advice to managers and employees
  • Coordinating, developing and delivering management development training activities and new starter inductions along with other compliance training.
  • Co-ordinating, developing and delivering Quarterly Company Updates

The ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum Level 5 CIPD qualification
  • Extensive HR Generalist experience in a standalone role
  • High level of confidentiality is essential
  • The ability to work alone as well as part of a team
  • The ability to work accurately, with great attention to detail
  • IT literacy in HR systems, and Microsoft applications
  • Previous payroll administration experience
  • Excellent organisational skills, and able to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
