Forward Waste Management is a well-established, continuously growing SME with currently 60 employees, providing innovative and value-added waste management services, primarily focused towards the manufacturing sector.
We are currently seeking an HR Generalist with extensive experience in a stand-alone role and a fast-paced environment.
As a person you will be a self-starter, have high attention to detail, be able to communicate to a variety of stakeholders and most importantly have a can-do attitude!

Some of your responsibilities will include;
- Ensuring all HR administration and processing tasks are carried out to a very high standard.
- Reviewing and updating policies and procedures, in line with legislative requirements
- Working to KPIs to reduce absence and turnover levels
- First line support to managers and colleagues in the use of HRIS
- Working with managers on HR projects
- Supporting the end-to-end recruitment and selection processes
- Co-ordinating and checking the monthly payroll process as required
- Providing legal and best practice advice to managers and employees
- Coordinating, developing and delivering management development training activities and new starter inductions along with other compliance training.
- Co-ordinating, developing and delivering Quarterly Company Updates
The ideal Candidate:
- Minimum Level 5 CIPD qualification
- Extensive HR Generalist experience in a standalone role
- High level of confidentiality is essential
- The ability to work alone as well as part of a team
- The ability to work accurately, with great attention to detail
- IT literacy in HR systems, and Microsoft applications
- Previous payroll administration experience
- Excellent organisational skills, and able to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
