Are you an Environmental Consultant with experience delivering phase 1 reports on commercial real estate? Interested in working with a national Consultancy offering long term career development opportunities?

Moxie People is delighted to be working with a Commercial Building Consultancy as they look to grow out their established Sustainability team with the addition of a new Environmental Consultant.

The Environmental Consultant will play a pivotal role in assessing and mitigating liabilities related to land quality and environmental management practices by delivering specialised, risk-based advice to landowners and property developers.

Your role and professional growth will be fully supported by the Directors and Partners, and will including financial support towards additional qualifications, amazing bonuses and benefits, and a structured career development plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site appraisals and desk-based land quality assessments (Phase 1).
  • Analyse and interpret data, producing comprehensive reports.
  • Perform environmental compliance inspections and audits.
  • Prepare desk-based appraisals for review by senior staff.
  • Collaborate with the ESG team to draft reports for review.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-4 years of industry experience, preferably in a consultancy or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in conducting geo-environmental assessments and reporting.
  • Understanding of geotechnical assessments and reporting.
  • A proactive attitude toward career development and learning.
  • Willingness to expand your knowledge of financial and project management skills.
