Environmental GIS ConsultantRemote / Pay Rate £17.94 - £19.77per hourHours Per Week: 37 hours per week Monday to FridayPertemps South Wales is currently seeking for our public sector client based in Wales.The role provides technical support to the Geospatial Team, managing integrated spatial data like legal maps, urban green spaces and Design of map products. It also involves using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Mapping Systems to provide data to the woodlands team across Wales.Required skills and experience.
  • Archive Management: Experience in managing and maintaining map and aerial photo archives, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
  • Spatial data management & GIS Expertise: Strong experience in managing, digitising and transforming spatial date in business contexts. Skilled in data collection, storage, analysis and archiving
  • Map Creation & styling: Proficient in designing map products, establishing standards, and creating online spatial data views. Expertise in map styling and developing style guides
  • Relevant Qualifications: Degree or strong background in data management, natural sciences, environmental science or computer science
