We are seeking an Commercial Reporting Analyst for our Accounting & Finance department in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a vital role in financial planning and analysis to drive business performance and growth.

Description

  • Sales Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive sales reports, including customer volume, product volume, and margin variances. Utilise various graphing techniques to present data clearly and effectively.
  • Sales Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights to enhance sales performance.
  • Variance Analysis: Perform detailed variance analysis to understand the differences between actual and forecasted sales figures. Identify the root causes of variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning with a strong emphasis on sales data and trends.
  • Customer Analysis: Analyse customer data to support sales and marketing strategies. Identify key customer segments and their purchasing behaviors.
  • Product Analysis: Evaluate product performance and profitability. Provide insights into product volume trends and margin variances.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and KPI dashboards. Use various graphing techniques to enhance the clarity and impact of reports.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales reporting and analysis capabilities.

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Exam Finalist
  • Previous experience in FP&A, Accounting, and reporting role within Manufacturing or FMCG industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting policies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and drive process improvements.
