SRM are seeking 3 FP&A Analysts for a Cardiff based client who is seeking detail-oriented Finance Analysts to join their team. This role is 100% office based

You will provide key financial insights that drive business decisions. This role will support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes while analyzing business performance and identifying areas for improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct financial analysis on key business drivers, trends, and performance indicators.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and insights to senior management.
  • Analyse variances between actuals and forecasts/budgets, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate financial implications of business decisions.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Assist in financial modelling and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and identify opportunities to optimize costs and revenue streams.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and reporting standards

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Must be studying towards a professional finance qualification
  • 3 years of experience in a finance or business analysis role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting techniques.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial software such as SAP, Oracle, or Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial insights for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
