We are seeking experienced Mortgage Underwriters to join a super Cardiff-based client. You will be working within BTL underwriting and must have relevant experience in a mandated mortgage underwriting role.You will be tasked with assessing loan applications to ensure that all relevant documentation is received and reviewed, and that eligibility is checked against company standards and criteria.Key responsibilities include:
- Undertake appraisal of applications received and submit recommendations, as to underwriting checks to be undertaken, to either the Assistant Manager or Head of Loans Underwriting
- Case ownership from Application through to Offer. Drive application to offer times by tracking the mortgage pipeline within the SLA
- Produce Loan Offers in compliance with the Lending Policy and laid down procedures, for submission to and approval by the Assistant Manager/Head of Loans Underwriting
