We’re on the lookout for a talented Accounts and Business Advisory (ABAS) Executive who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. What You’ll Be Doing:

As an ABAS Executive, your role will encompass more than just crunching numbers. You’ll actively contribute to the success of our clients by:

  • Preparing financial statements in line with relevant reporting standards from records maintained by the client.
  • Creating accounting schedules to support balances and transactions in financial statements.
  • Reviewing work completed by junior staff, providing feedback, and ensuring technical and presentational accuracy.
  • Handling complex accounting areas for accounts prepared by junior team members.
  • Producing financial statements from client records and summarising key client issues for senior review.
  • Adhering to proper accounting standards while delivering exceptional client service.

What We’re Looking For:

I'm searching for an individual with the following skills and experience:

  • Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified, with prior experience in practice.
  • Skills: Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping, basic tax computations, and software tools such as Sage, Excel, Word, and ideally CaseWare.
  • Experience: Previous experience supervising junior staff (6–12 months preferable).
  • Knowledge: Up-to-date technical knowledge, including recent developments in accounting standards.
  • Attributes: Strong communication skills, exceptional organisational abilities, client-focused mindset, and commercial awareness.
