Job Description

As Finance Director at T2 Group, you'll have the ability to implement forward-thinking financial practices, manage large-scale contracts, and adapt to new funding regulations, ensuring both personal and professional growth in a dynamic and impactful environment.

Key features of the role:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead the finance team, providing direction and fostering a high-performance culture. Oversee recruitment, coaching, and resource planning to align with strategic goals.

  • Financial Planning and Operations: Manage the financial planning and budgeting processes, oversee month-end accounts, forecasting, payroll, and audits, ensuring timely, accurate reporting and efficient cash flow management.

  • Commercial: Drive the successful delivery of contracts and tenders, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with regulatory changes.

  • Auditing & Compliance: Lead internal and external audits, maintaining compliance with funding bodies, Department for Education (DfE) audits, and health & safety regulations.

  • Business Partnering: Analyse the finanicial climate, key data and trends to support the senior leadership teams and Executive Board in creating strategic plans for the future.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, we welcome applications from candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • A professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA

  • Proven experience in a Financial leadership role

  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models

  • Proficiency in accounting software

  • An analytical mind with a strategic capability

  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
