Description

Financial Management and Strategy: Develop financial strategies, manage risk, optimise profits, and support executives in decision-making.
Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and interpret financial reports, monitor systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and complete finance reporting packs on schedule.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Oversee budgets, cash flow, cost-reduction strategies, and gross margin analysis by project.
Payroll and Reconciliation: Handle payroll processes, prepare related analysis reports, reconcile daily bank statements, and maintain accurate financial records.
Audit and Fixed Asset Management: Prepare for audits, conduct quarterly asset and stock verifications, and address discrepancies.
Team Leadership and Development: Manage and train the Assistant Accountant, oversee department workloads, and ensure adherence to finance-related targets and deadlines.
Ad Hoc and Continuous Improvement: Lead process improvements, address client refunds, support ad hoc projects, and maintain updated accounting knowledge through training.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have

Professional qualification / studying towards ACCA or CIMA
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
Proficiency in use of financial software.
