This is a unique opportunity to influence the strategic direction of the organization while working with cutting-edge tools like Alteryx and Power BI.The Opportunity:Become part of an award-winning finance team, nationally recognized for excellence. You’ll contribute to developing and maintaining medium to long-term financial models, working collaboratively to secure sustainable funding. This role allows you to influence major projects, including fee reviews and strategic submissions, while building on funding models rooted in activity-based costing.Your responsibilities will include analysing financial and non-financial data to uncover insights, automating processes for consistency, and supporting projects by developing robust business cases. You’ll also advise on affordability and should-cost modeling for large-scale procurements, ensuring compliance with key financial guidelines.Continuous improvement, training, and development are embedded in the culture, and the organization invests heavily in staff, offering the support needed to excel in a hybrid work environment with flexible arrangements for a healthy work-life balance with a minimum one day a week onsite and no set core hours.What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified or part qualified accountant (CCAB/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to thrive in environments of ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Proven ability to influence and challenge stakeholder decisions effectively.
  • Proactive and skilled at building trusted relationships.
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency.
  • Desirable: Experience with activity-based costing, financial analysis, or should-cost modeling.
  • Beneficial: Familiarity with Alteryx and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
