Paraplanner Cardiff Gate

£30,000 - £42,000 depending on experience

  • 6 monthly profit share bonus
  • Full Time, Permanent - 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid working after 3 month probation period


Paraplanner Qualifications

  • Level 4 Diploma qualified with Level 6 exams (AFs) preferable
  • Long-established track record in Regulated Financial Services


Role and responsibilities

  • Effectively and efficiently build relationships and confidently speak to clients
  • Review, check & formalise a file to completion with the Financial Analyst
  • Attend joint client meetings with the Financial Adviser if required
  • Meeting with fund managers & product providers for research & diligence purposes
  • High quality suitability report writing
  • Competent on research tools Selecta pension, Synaptics, Trustnet and Cashflow modelling tools.
  • Experience in using a CRM system.
  • Processing new business applications and chasing outstanding requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills for updating clients, chasing completion of cases and accurately updating diary back office.
  • Experience to analyse investment funds.
  • Assist with bespoke high net worth tax planning solutions & investment propositions
  • Accurately complete complex tax calculations Ability to work under pressure to strict guidelines.
  • Support training colleagues or new members of staff
  • Positively contribute to the team morale and energy, be a great team player.
  • Manage the Investment Committee, research fund performance, strategy, and objectives to present to the advisers
  • Personal responsibility to keep up to date with Compliance testing and knowledge
