Financial Services ParaplannerPosition Overview: My client is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Financial Services Professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulated financial services, with a focus on pensions, trusts, and investments. This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and experience with various research tools. You will be responsible for writing high-quality suitability reports, supporting client meetings, and providing technical expertise in complex financial planning solutions.Skills & Qualifications for the Financial Services Paraplanner:Level 4 Diploma in Financial Services (Level 6 exams such as AF's preferred).Proven track record in regulated financial services.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Excellent organisational and project management skills.Extensive knowledge and experience in pensions, trusts, and investments.Responsibilities for the Financial Services Paraplanner:Produce high-quality suitability reports for clients.Use financial research tools such as Selectapension, Synaptics, FE Analytics, Trustnet, and cashflow modelling tools to support client recommendations.Attend and lead client meetings when required.Meet with fund managers and product providers for research and due diligence purposes.Provide support and training to other team members.Prepare and present technical information for client meetings.Review and formalise client files from the Analyst team to completion.Assist with bespoke high net worth tax planning solutions and investment propositions.Complete complex tax calculations accurately.Stay up to date with regulatory and industry changes.Work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow and develop in a dynamic and supportive environment, working with high-net-worth clients and complex financial planning scenarios.
