Pertemps is recruiting a Yard Operative for a client in Cardiff, with the role starting ASAP.
This is a full-time temporary position offering a pay rate of £13.50 per hour, with shifts from 08:00 to 16:00.
Candidates must have experience in a fast-paced yard environment and hold an in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
The role requires physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy loads, along with good communication and problem-solving skills.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for Yard Operative for a client based in Cardiff. This role is a full time temporary ongoing position and will be starting ASAP.Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour.Shifts: 08:00 - 16:00As a FLT Yard Operative, your duties will include:

Use a Forklift to safely move heavy objects around the yard
Remove plastic storage bags from containers.
Empty the contents and secure in storage areas.
Move contents into Recycling and compactor skips.
Store each part in relevant bins.
Loaded and unloading containers.
Ensure all health and safety briefings are adhered to.
Reporting any mishaps, near misses to relevant parties
This is physically demanding role, and the applicant must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads.

The successful candidate for the Yard Operative role will also need the following skills:

Experience within a fast-paced yard environment.
Good communication skills
Ability to solve problems.
Ability to work to strict deadlines.
An In-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential for this role.
