Salary: £23,000-£35,000 + Benefits and progression opportunities
The Company:
We are working with a growing and successful insurance broker in the Cardiff area who are looking to bring on a talented Insurance professional to join their commercial and corporate division.
The business is continuing to grow and has some ambitious plans. This means that opportunities will become available within the company and there will definitely be the chance to become a more senior member of the team.
The Role:
Handling a mixed book of commercial and corporate clients, you will work alongside a senior member of staff and account executive. You will play a key role in managing these relationships from the office, managing mid-term adjustments, renewals and new business enquiries.
You will work with a panel of insurers and cultivate excellent relationships with underwriters and develop an excellent knowledge of broking.
This is a brilliant opportunity whereby you will be supporting one of the businesses directors and their valued book of clients.
The Required Skills:
Good commercial insurance knowledge (knowledge of Business interruption, Property, Liability & motor)
The ability to confidently handle commercial clients and perform open market broking exercises
Good communication, negotiation, and time management skills
