Ecological Clerk of Works

Cardiff £26,000-£40,000

I am pleased to announce that I am looking for an Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) to join a fantastic team in Cardiff!

You will have the opportunity to work within an established consultancy who offer a range of ecological surveys ranging from specialist habitat and species surveys, impact assessments and biodiversity mitigation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Being the vital point of contact for ecological matters on site.
  • Monitoring construction risks associated with ecology.
  • Providing input to continuous improvement of environmental processes, procedures and related forms.

Requirements:

  • Previous work experience in the ecology sector (preferably within a professional consultancy).
  • Experience in conducting protected species surveys.
  • An understanding of environmental and ecological impact assessment legislation and policy.
