Production Operative

Location: Near BlackwoodContract Type: Ongoing TemporaryWorking Pattern:

• Shift Schedule: Continental shift pattern (day and night shifts).
• Hours: 7 AM - 7 PM and 7 PM - 7 AM.
• Flexibility: Required to work weekends and bank holidays as part of the rota.

Hourly Rate:

• £11.44 per hour
• £12.70 per hour after 12 weeks

• Quality Checks:
  • Visually and physically inspect products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Document findings and report consecutive defects to Line Supervision.
• Equipment Operation: Operate processing equipment as needed.
• Sampling: Collect and supply product samples for quality assurance.
• Standards Maintenance:
  • Maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) in all activities.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives by suggesting and implementing improvements.
• Compliance & Housekeeping: Ensure adherence to company rules, regulations, and ISO 9000 quality systems while maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

• Experience: Previous production experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Commitment:
  • Ability to work full-time in the specified shift pattern.

• Transport: Access to private transport is essential.
