People Group are looking for either a Foreman or Supervisor with demonstrable surfacing and airport experience to work for a Principle Contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Coordination:Direct and manage on-site activities of subcontractors to ensure efficient execution of drainage works.
- Quality Control:Ensure all drainage works meet required standards and specifications.
- Health & Safety:Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel.
- Project Monitoring:Track progress against the project schedule, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Reporting:Maintain detailed records and report on daily activities, progress, and any issues encountered.
- Problem Solving:Address and resolve any on-site issues, coordinating with project management and subcontractors as needed.
Essential:
- Extensive experience as a General Foreman or Supervisor, in sufacing works and airport projects.
- Experience working for a surfacing contractor
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a construction environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Desirable:
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management.
- Experience working night shifts and managing projects under tight deadlines
