About the Role:Cardiff Council is looking for organized and proactive Team Clerks to join our Children's Services department. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the essential work of our social care teams, ensuring efficient administrative operations that enable us to deliver the best outcomes for children and families in Cardiff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Children's Services teams.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records, including case files and databases.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
  • Respond to telephone and email inquiries, directing them appropriately.
  • Assist with the processing of documentation, such as reports and correspondence.
  • Support with the collation and submission of statutory returns and performance data.
  • Ensure compliance with Cardiff Council's policies and safeguarding standards.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably in a social care or public sector setting.
