Wellbeing and Engagement Advisor

We are delighted to partner once again with our hi-tech client as they expand their business into the US market. Located in Cardiff with fully remote working as an option, they really do put their people first and, in line with their values, have created this new role for a Wellbeing and Engagement Advisor. Driving a positive, healthy and productive work culture where their people thrive, they aim to highlight how deeply they care about their employees wellbeing believing everyone has a voice and should be given the necessary support to do their best. Reporting to the HR and Operations Manager, you will:

  • Develop and maintain a creative wellbeing programme to meet employee needs and performance excellence
  • Review policies, processes and procedures ensuring they align to employee wellbeing and drive engagement
  • Promote physical and mental wellbeing
  • Organise and deliver training and coaching related to health and wellbeing such as mental health awareness, resilience, mindfulness collaborating with other areas of the business to understand the feel of the people
  • Facilitate Engagement and Wellbeing events and awareness days
  • Conduct employee engagement surveys, analysing trends, collating feedback and preparing an action plan
  • Promote physical and mental wellbeing
  • Support employees to develop their tailored wellbeing plans and drive employee accountability to follow these plans
  • Conduct employee satisfaction surveys, analysing the trends and delivering an action plan
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement strategies that directly impact business KPIs such as productivity, retention rates and absenteeism
  • Build and maintain excellent internal relationships maintaining utmost confidentiality at all times

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Ideally, a mental health and wellbeing qualification
  • HR generalist experience
  • A good understanding of mental health and wellbeing
  • Empathetic and approachable, you will have a genuine passion for supporting people to explore their needs
  • A strong desire to see others thrive
  • Proven experience of and enjoy training and coaching others
  • Proven experience implementing and driving wellbeing and engagement including conducting employee satisfaction surveys
  • Motivated employees to engage with and take ownership of their health and wellbeing
