An additional part time role has become available. South Wales based WELSH ROOTS are seeking another experienced, qualified Gardener. The part time role can become a full time role for the right candidate.

The main focus of the business is to deliver a high quality horticultural service to our existing regular clients across the South Wales area. As such, the candidateMUST HAVEsound plant knowledge and recognised horticultural qualifications. If you do not have the required knowledge & qualifications please do not apply. This position is offered on a Sub Contractor basis with regular work guaranteed. Established client database already in place for the right candidate. Our client base is expanding all the time so there is no shortage of work.

The role will include all aspects of Gardening and Garden Maintenance: lawn mowing, hedge trimming, weeding, pruning of shrubs, fruit trees and topiary as well as planting of bulbs, annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees, also Fruit & Veg growing. The ability to be able to discuss with clients any proposed garden designs and planting plans/schemes. The role may include some aspects of hard landscaping if the right candidate has previous experience.

ESSENTIALRequirements:

• Sound Plant Identification/ Plant Knowledge
• Horticultural qualifications
• Full UK Driving license and access to own car/van
• Previous grounds maintenance/gardening experience
• Access to own tools such as lawnmower, hedge trimmer and other essential gardening tools But tools can be supplied
• Confident to work on own initiative
• A desire to work to a high standard
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• PA1 and PA6 spraying license (desirable but not essential)
