Health & Safety Advisor - Position Highlights

  • Significant Impact: As a Health and Safety Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining safe operations across five key recycling yards, directly contributing to the well-being of employees.
  • Professional Growth: This position offers the chance to lead in the implementation and maintenance of health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001 standards and fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Location: Cardiff, Wales (with site responsibilities across South Wales, Bristol, Rotherham, and Sunderland)

Key Responsibilities as the Health & Safety Advisor

  • Provide authoritative advice on health and safety standards and systems.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain a certified occupational health and safety management system.
  • Lead risk assessments and safety audits, identifying and mitigating workplace hazards.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance safety awareness among employees.

Candidate Profile - Health & Safety Advisor

  • Holds a NEBOSH certificate and has proven experience within the manufacturing, recycling, construction, and plant sectors.
  • Willing to travel to Rotherham/Sunderland every 6-10 weeks and Bristol once or twice a month.
  • Demonstrates exceptional coaching skills and a commitment to promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
