We are seeking a Lead Health & Safety Specialist to join their team, contributing to the safety and compliance of their operations as they continue to expand.

This full-time position is based in South Wales, UK, and offers a unique opportunity to lead health and safety efforts in collaboration with executive management, ensuring the safety and functionality of company facilities.

Key Responsibilities as the Lead H&S Specialist:

  • Oversee and manage building functions, including routine safety inspections, contractor coordination, and maintenance.
  • Ensure facilities comply with government regulations and health, safety, and security standards.
  • Manage budgets for maintenance and staffing and oversee building projects and renovations.
  • Train staff in H&S procedures and maintain records for compliance with ISO 14001 audits.

To be successful in your application for the Lead H&S Specialist position, you will have the following expertise:

  • Proven experience as a Health & Safety professional.
  • Knowledge and experience of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Experience managing facilities and infrastructure functions, including safety compliance and contractor management.
