Modern Foreign Languages Teacher needed in Cardiff – to start after Easter.

A prestigious secondary school in Cardiff is seeking to appoint a Modern Foreign Languages teacher to start work with immediate effect. The post is covering a maternity leave and will be ongoing into the new academic year. The Head Teacher is looking for someone with a positive attitude to teaching, an enthusiastic and dynamic approach and has high expectations of learners.
You will need to provide creative, quality learning opportunities for students, model high standards of behaviour, create an environment which inspires ‘awe and wonder’, encourage and motivate students to reach their full potential and work with families and our local community to support children’s learning.
The Modern Foreign Languages teacher must be able to teach at least one of the following languages:
- Latin
- German
- Italian
- French
- Spanish

Applicants need to have:
- Market leading daily rates of pay of £166.32 per day;
- QTS with a Modern Foreign Languages specialism;
- Experience teaching up to KS4 / Key Stage 4;
- Good classroom management;
- A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with;
