Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 6,000 employees
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, tax codes, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP)
  • Upload and process weekly/monthly hours from multiple branches
  • Handle payroll queries from employees and third parties via phone, email, and post
  • Process deductions, including AOE/CSA orders and voluntary payments
  • Run reports using Excel and payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Liaise with internal teams, including branches and Head Office, to resolve payroll issues
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven payroll management experience, ideally within a high-volume environment
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes and payroll legislation
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience working with payroll systems
  • High attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with colleagues across the business
  • A proactive and organised approach to problem-solving
