- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 6,000 employees
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, tax codes, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP)
- Upload and process weekly/monthly hours from multiple branches
- Handle payroll queries from employees and third parties via phone, email, and post
- Process deductions, including AOE/CSA orders and voluntary payments
- Run reports using Excel and payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Liaise with internal teams, including branches and Head Office, to resolve payroll issues
- Proven payroll management experience, ideally within a high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes and payroll legislation
- Excellent Excel skills and experience working with payroll systems
- High attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines
- Strong communication skills to liaise with colleagues across the business
- A proactive and organised approach to problem-solving
