Reed HR are excited to be supporting one of the largest accountancy firms in South Wales in their search for a HR Advisor. You will be providing comprehensive HR support across Swansea and Cardiff. This role is ideal for someone with a ‘can do’ attitude, ready to handle a variety of tasks from resourcing and on-boarding to employee relations and rewards. You will work closely with the Regional HR Manager to implement the people plan for the region and contribute to the firm’s HR strategy.

20-25 hours

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage the on-boarding process for new starters, including documentation checks, induction days, and initial performance assessments.
  • Assist with the performance management process, including administration of appraisal systems and supporting managers with performance conversations.
  • Handle the full employee lifecycle, from supporting managers with leave requests to managing flexible working applications and maintaining up-to-date employee records.
  • Participate in absence management, ensuring accurate record-keeping and supporting managers with related processes.
  • Conduct exit interviews and contribute to the leaver process, ensuring smooth transitions and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide general support to the HR team, including policy development, HR projects, and training initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR Coordinator or Advisory role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel between offices as needed. (Once every two weeks to Swansea)
  • Experience in a multi-site role is highly advantageous.
