Management Information Analyst

Are you meticulous with data and have a passion for turning numbers into actionable insights? We're a fintech start-up based in Cardiff, looking for a Management Information Analyst to join us on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.

About Us:We're a team of around 40, driven to transform banking through innovative, technology-first solutions. As we continue to grow, we're automating our processes and need a dedicated analyst to compile and interpret management information to support our leadership team.

Role Overview:As the Management Information Analyst, you'll gather and collate data from our core banking system, People HR, and CRM systems, using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to create management-friendly reports. You'll be responsible for spotting and flagging inconsistencies and providing valuable insights that help drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract, organize, and analyze data from various systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Produce clear, actionable reports and presentations for management using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Identify trends and discrepancies, such as sudden shifts in sales figures, and collaborate with relevant teams to verify data.
  • Communicate findings in a way that's accessible to non-technical team members.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and a proactive approach to spotting trends.
  • Degree in Social/Medical Science, Maths, Geography, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
  • Proficient in Excel, with working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
