Network Engineer – 3 Month Contract – Hybrid – Cardiff
VIQU have partnered with an NHS client based in Cardiff, who are seeking a CISCO Network Engineer with strong Wi-Fi background on a contract basis.
The role:
The successful Network Engineer will be supporting on a specific project focused on Wi-Fi / Wireless Networks. You will use web analysis tools (such as Ekahau) for surveying, optimizing, designing, and troubleshooting wireless networks with spectrum analysis and heat mapping.
Key skills and experience:
- Strong experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on Wi-Fi / Wireless Networks
- Experience in CISCO / Aerohive Wi-Fi systems
- Use of web analysis tools, ideally Ekahau
- CISCO Networking skills
- CISCO Routing & Switching
- CISCO ASA Firewalls
- Strong experience with DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
- Good technical knowledge of VOIP systems
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.)
