Estimator

DCS Recruitment are currently looking for an estimator to join an established construction provider in Cardiff.

Primary Objectives
* Co-ordinate the tender process in a timely fashion
* Accurate measurement using both CAD measure & manual measures
* Production of tenders using Causeway Estimating Software System
* Produce an accurate prime cost for the project.
* Develop relationships with the design team and clients
* Develop relationships, quality, and the range of the supply chain
* Identification of areas of risk and opportunity
* Highlight conflict and deficiencies within contract documentation
* Produce the Estimating handover information in a suitable format for the Construction team
* Support of Senior department staff
Supporting Priorities
* Support and promote collaborative working both internally & externally
* Develop use of IT systems
* Maintain a level of technical expertise
* Maintain current cost data
* Strive to eliminate risk
* Obtain feedback from the construction departments on tenders
