The Company

My client, an ambitious, independent Town Planning Consultancy who have over forty years of experience, is looking for a Senior Town Planner to join the team based in Cardiff. The client works with some of the UK's largest developers and landowners and has offices in London, Cardiff, Leeds, Manchester, and Newcastle, providing national coverage.

The successful candidate will have excellent career development opportunities, and be involved in all aspects of Planning, working as part of the larger team, and leading your own projects. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects across all residential, housing, schools, retail and towns, health, employment and industrial, energy, hospitality, student accommodation and urban living sectors!

The Role as an Assistant Planner:
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Planner to support a growing team.

  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications.
  • Conducting site appraisals, research, and analysis.
  • Supporting the team in preparing planning reports and documents.

Candidate Requirements as an Assistant Planner:

  • A relevant degree in town planning, urban studies, geography, or a related field.
  • Interest in UK planning policies and regulations.
  • Experience in a planning-related role.
  • Working towards RTPI accreditation (preferred but not essential).
