An exciting opportunity has presented itself for an ambitious Assistant Town Planner in Cardiff!

Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a UK leading Multidisciplinary Consultancy whose dynamic team of Planning specialists who, due to an exciting pipeline of projects, are looking to expand!

The successful candidate will support the Senior Planners in the team on a range of exciting projects across a wide range of sectors, including, residential, infrastructure, energy, retail, leisure, hospitality and more.

You will assist in the preparation of planning applications and appeals, conduct site appraisals and planning policy assessments, and support the preparation of reports and presentations for a wide range of clients!

Candidate Requirements:

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related field (RTPI accredited).
  • Some experience in planning, either public or private sector.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, adaptable attitude with a desire to learn and grow within the team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
