Associate Director Town Planner - Cardiff

We are working with a highly regarded planning consultancy that is looking for an experienced Associate Director Town Planner to join their dynamic and growing team in Cardiff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a variety of planning projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

  • Provide strategic advice to clients, guiding them through the planning process and ensuring successful project delivery.

  • Oversee a team of planners, offering mentorship, support, and development to junior staff members.

  • Work closely with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure planning applications are processed efficiently.

  • Contribute to business development efforts, building relationships and identifying new opportunities for growth.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant planning policies and regulations.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent.

  • A proven track record of success in planning consultancy, with experience managing complex projects across different sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of planning legislation and policy, particularly in Wales.
