Associate Director Town Planner - Cardiff
We are working with a highly regarded planning consultancy that is looking for an experienced Associate Director Town Planner to join their dynamic and growing team in Cardiff.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a variety of planning projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Provide strategic advice to clients, guiding them through the planning process and ensuring successful project delivery.

Oversee a team of planners, offering mentorship, support, and development to junior staff members.

Work closely with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure planning applications are processed efficiently.

Contribute to business development efforts, building relationships and identifying new opportunities for growth.

Ensure compliance with relevant planning policies and regulations.
The Ideal Candidate:

A Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent.

A proven track record of success in planning consultancy, with experience managing complex projects across different sectors.

Strong knowledge of planning legislation and policy, particularly in Wales.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Confident communicator, able to build relationships with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
