Infrastructure Engineer
I am working with a well-established engineering consultancy that specializes in Civil and Structural Engineering, with over 40 years of success across various sectors. Our client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Cardiff and contribute to a wide range of exciting projects.
As part of their dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with both civil and structural engineers, bringing your expertise in infrastructure design to the table. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about delivering high-quality solutions while continuously developing their skills and knowledge, especially in the use of cutting-edge software.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
·Proficiency in designing highway infrastructure (S38/S278) and drainage systems (S104/S98), handling projects from inception to completion.
·Strong experience with software tools such as MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow, and Civil 3D.
·Experience in designing foul pumping stations, Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS), flow control, and balancing facilities is highly desirable.
·Experience in the design of residential and commercial external works is also beneficial.
·Near-chartered status with ICE or IStructE is preferred, but not essential.
·Proven track record in delivering designs across multiple materials and varying building forms.
·Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a mixed team environment.
·A commitment to delivering innovative solutions and continuous professional development.
