About the Role
The successful candidate will:
- Assist in the preparation and management of planning applications, development appraisals, and evidence-based studies
- Work closely with clients and local authorities to navigate planning policies and procedures
- Support the team with research, analysis, and report writing
- Contribute to solving complex planning challenges, including listed buildings, appeals, and heritage appraisals
- Develop skills in master planning, environmental impact assessments, and land promotion
Key Skills & Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Keen interest in planning policy, local authority processes, and development regulations
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Working towards RTPI accreditation is desirable
