Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Corporate Commercial Solicitor with at least 5 years of PQE to join our client's award-winning law firm based in Cardiff. As part of their Corporate and Commercial team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients across a range of sectors, providing clear and commercially-savvy advice on corporate and commercial matters. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and commercially-minded individual to join a dynamic team and work with innovative businesses in Cardiff and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and advise on various corporate transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, and restructuring.
  • Draught, negotiate, and review complex commercial contracts to safeguard client interests and achieve business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic and pragmatic legal advice tailored to their business needs.
  • Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Support junior solicitors and trainees through guidance, supervision, and training.
  • Contribute to the firm's business development efforts by attending networking events and identifying growth opportunities.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in corporate and commercial law.
  • Strong experience in handling corporate transactions, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, and advising on corporate governance.
  • Excellent analytical and drafting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and provide client-focused solutions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
