You will engage in a mix of contentious and non-contentious work, primarily supporting employer clients. This includes handling disputes, providing general advisory services, corporate support, and occasional client training. Clients span a variety of sectors, including household-name retailers, NHS bodies, government, and third-sector organisations, ensuring a diverse workload and opportunities to work on interesting and impactful matters. You will assist Partners in supervising and developing junior team members while benefiting from collaboration with a larger team across the firm’s other offices. Who You must demonstrate solid technical expertise, intellectual ability, and a passion for employment law. Key skills include strong analytical, research, drafting, and negotiation abilities, along with a relationship-driven approach, excellent communication, and matter management capabilities.
