Your new firmOur Top 50 client is a leading national firm and are looking for a qualified Regulatory Solicitor to join their claims division. The firm offers a full spectrum of services to a range of different practice areas and provides many large corporations and private clients with excellent legal services. You will be joining their Tier 1 ranked Professional Discipline practice in their fantastic Cardiff office. Your new role You will be taking on a supervisory role overseeing approximately 6 paralegals in their Healthcare Regulatory team, where you will work on assisting clients with investigations into claims made against healthcare professionals. Responsibilities of this great role include:

  • Case management under partner or principle associate supervision
  • Supervision and management of paralegals within the team.
  • Reviewing evidence related to claims.
  • Interviewing witnesses and drafting statements.
  • Correspondence with relevant parties.
  • Supporting stakeholders including vulnerable witnesses

What you'll need to succeedYou will ideally have previous experience handling volume claims and supervising junior team members handling this type of work. You will be used to working to tight delivery frameworks, while ensuring the team maintain a high level of client service. You will also ideally have:

  • Previous experience in healthcare, regulatory, or insurance fields.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience supervising junior colleagues.
  • The ability to work towards KPIs.
  • Great written and analytical skills.
