What the Lawyer will be doing

This is a newly created role, working as part of a large, diverse team of legal professionals. You will provide expert legal advice on matters relating to planning and infrastructure and habitat regulation. You will provide high quality risk and solutions based legal advice to a range of stakeholders and instigate and conduct criminal proceedings.

What the successful Lawyer will bring to the team

Fear not, we're not looking for an environmental specialist! NRW will provide a 6m training plan to give you the specialist knowledge to do the job in hand. There's a team of 7 other lawyers doing this role who've come from a range of backgrounds. What we are looking for is:

  • Qualified solicitor with minimum 1-year PQE
  • Evidence of CPD
  • Experience delivering effective legal services in the public or private sector
  • Demonstrable and effective stakeholder management at all levels and good communication skills.
