Job Title: Legal Director or Principle Solicitor Department/Specialism - Insolvency Salary: Circa £80K - £120K + + bonus' (flexible dependant on experience)Location: Cardiff, flexible working location.Hours: Full time, flexible.OverviewTop Tier, Legal 500 Law firm are looking for an experienced Senior Associate Solicitor with a solid background or specialism in Insolvency Litigation Law. The office location is Cardiff; however, they are happy to consider applicants further afield with flexibility to work from home as long you are where you need to be, when you need to be there.Responsibilities:Manage a varied caseload of contentious insolvency issues representing clients across diverse sectors, including healthcare, finance, retail, and manufacturing. This may include, but is not limited to:* Handling disputes related to post-M&A issues and warranty claims.* Managing/assisting in complex civil fraud cases, including asset freezing and recovery efforts.* Advising on shareholder, partnership, and joint venture conflicts. Providing guidance on insolvency matters, including liquidations and bankruptcies.* Assisting directors, creditors, and debtors in navigating insolvency processes.* Assisting with director disqualification proceedings and voluntary arrangements Conducting investigations into white-collar fraud and facilitating asset recovery.

Desired Experience:Ideally you will identify as an Insolvency Specialist, at least 80% of your caseload and most recent experience will be dedicated to Insolvency.* Solid background in Insolvency Litigation handling a wide range of contentious matters. Someone who is well-versed in the complexities of insolvency law and has practical experience working with key stakeholders in these situations.* Experience working with Insolvency Practitioners.* Experience representing creditors and business owners facing insolvency or at risk of insolvency. * Demonstrate technical competence and commercial awareness.* A team player with a flexible and collaborative approach, while also capable of working independently.* Maintain a strong client-focused attitude, driven and enthusiastic.SOME OF THE EMPLOYEE BENEFITS:* Flexible working.
