An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Personal Injury Solicitor to work alongside a highly regarded injuries lawyer in a leading Cardiff law firm. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, enabling you to work both from home and in the office, creating a great balance between your professional and personal life.

You will have the chance to support and collaborate with an expert in personal injury law, handling a wide variety of cases and offering your clients expert legal advice and support throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing a diverse caseload of personal injury claims, including accidents at work, and public liability.
  • Work directly with a highly experienced injuries lawyer, learning from their expertise and providing support where necessary.
  • Offer legal advice to clients, ensuring clear communication and regular updates throughout their claim.
  • Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings, settlement agreements, and witness statements.
  • Liaise with third parties, including insurers, medical professionals, and opposing counsel.
  • Attend hearings and meetings, as well as assist with negotiations when required.
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met, maintaining a high standard of client service.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years of experience in personal injury law
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury law and relevant procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and third parties.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
  • A passion for delivering excellent client service.
  • Team player with a proactive approach to work and the ability to work independently.
